Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FleetID platform, including the website at fleetid.app, the FleetID mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by FleetID ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes related to equipment and event management. You may not use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service

2. Accounts & Organizations

When you create an organization (brand) on FleetID, you are the account owner. You may invite team members and manage their access. You are responsible for all content and data uploaded by users within your organization.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid features are billed on a monthly or annual subscription basis through Stripe. Prices are displayed on our pricing page and may change with notice.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the billing period. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all data, photos, and content you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it as necessary to provide the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content, including photos and participant information. You must obtain appropriate consent from event participants before collecting their personal data through the Service.

5. Digital Waivers

FleetID provides tools for creating and collecting digital waivers and e-signatures. We store these records on your behalf but do not provide legal advice. You are responsible for ensuring your waiver content complies with applicable laws and is enforceable in your jurisdiction.

6. Equipment & NFC Tags

The Service allows you to write data to NFC tags and associate them with equipment records. You are responsible for the physical tags and equipment you manage. We are not liable for lost, damaged, or malfunctioning tags or equipment.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The mobile app includes offline capabilities (queued scans and photo uploads) to minimize disruption during connectivity issues. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FleetID is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of account closure. After that period, your data may be permanently deleted.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
